High-speed crash on I-10 East Freeway near Federal Road injures 3

HPD says a Saturday afternoon high-speed crash on the I-10 eastbound frontage road near Federal Road sent three people to the hospital; all are expected to survive. A Chevy Traverse pulling out of Centerwood Drive onto the feeder was struck by a black car that flipped. Speed was a factor; fault not announced. Frontage briefly closed.
