Man shot in the neck during fight at Rippling Fields Drive home north of Jersey Village

A 32-year-old man was shot in the neck around 10 p.m. Thursday at a home on Rippling Fields Drive, just north of Jersey Village in northwest Harris County. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the man went to the home and got into a physical fight with family members who live there, all of whom he worked with; one of them grabbed a handgun from a vehicle and shot him. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Deputies detained at least two family members as persons of interest. HCSO says a dispute from earlier in the week appears to have boiled over.
