HPD releases sketch in attempted lure of child near Memorial Elementary

Houston police released a sketch of a man accused of trying to lure an 8-year-old girl into a car near Memorial Elementary School on Haskell Street by Memorial Park. HPD said the Aug. 16 incident involved a red car; the man showed the girl a puppy and drove off when she ran. Police described the suspect as a bald Black man with facial and arm tattoos. Officials have also said vandalized nearby license-plate cameras complicated the investigation. Source: ABC13 Houston
