Arrests after bystander shot in Selinsky Road melee that began with woman ramming cars

Houston police have arrested two people after a fight on Selinsky Road near Martin Luther King Boulevard late Friday led to gunfire that hit a bystander. HPD said officers were called just before 11 p.m. and found a large crowd. Police said a couple's argument turned into an assault, and the woman later came back and rammed several cars in the parking lot. One of the car owners left, returned with more people, and two groups exchanged gunfire. A man standing across the street who had nothing to do with the fight was shot twice in the leg and is expected to survive; a second gunshot victim left before police arrived. The woman accused of ramming the cars and the man who brought the others back were arrested and charged. Source: Houston Police Department, via ABC13, FOX 26 and KPRC 2.
