Person found dead in overturned trash can on Anita Street in Third Ward

HPD responded about 12:13 a.m. Sunday to the 3100 block of Anita Street in Third Ward after a caller reported gunfire and someone moving a body toward a trash can. Officers found a deceased person inside an overturned trash can; cause of death was not immediately clear. Two people were taken for questioning as persons of interest. (Source: KPRC / Click2Houston)
