Driver crashes into HPD vehicle on SW Freeway near 610

HPD says a driver hit a parked Houston police vehicle on the Southwest Freeway near the 610 West Loop around 5 a.m. Saturday while officers were already working another crash. The officer was not inside the cruiser and was not injured; TranStar images showed the HPD vehicle’s airbags deployed. The freeway reopened around 7:30 a.m. (Source: ABC13 / Houston TranStar)
