Woman killed crossing Westheimer near club in west Houston

About 11:51 p.m. Saturday near the 12900 block of Westheimer Road, a woman believed to be in her 20s was fatally struck while crossing outside a designated crosswalk with a group heading to a nearby club. She was taken to a hospital and later died. The driver stayed at the scene, cooperated, and showed no immediate signs of impairment, police said. (Source: KPRC / Click2Houston)
