Bleeding man robs Good Samaritans at knifepoint after parking-lot crash on Nordling Rd
A man in his early 20s robbed people at knifepoint and drove off in their vehicle Tuesday night after crashing into another car in a parking lot in the 6200 block of Nordling Road on Houston's north side, police said. It happened shortly after 9 p.m. The man got out bleeding from a cut to his stomach, and when people walked over to check on him, he robbed them at knifepoint and took their vehicle. Officers found the stolen vehicle about 40 minutes later near the 100 block of Keel Street, about a mile away. Police said he resisted and tried to run, was stopped with a Taser, and was taken into custody and to a hospital in stable condition. Investigators believe his stomach wound was self-inflicted. No one else was hurt, and police don't believe he knew the people he robbed. Source: Houston Police Department, via FOX 26, KPRC 2 and Houston Stringer.
