Driver dies after crash into 18-wheeler on Katy Freeway at Bunker Hill

A 69-year-old man died after his vehicle slammed into an 18-wheeler on the Katy Freeway near Bunker Hill Road, Houston police said. Witnesses reported the driver’s vehicle was swerving before the crash around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 9700 block of the Katy Freeway. HPD said a black Hyundai Tucson hit a white 18-wheeler while both were eastbound; the Tucson driver was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. Source: ABC13 Houston
