Man fatally stabbed at Heights apartment on Oliver Street; woman taken into custody

Around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Houston police responded to 1520 Oliver Street after reports that two people had been stabbed. Officers and firefighters found a man in his mid-20s in the apartment complex parking garage with a shoulder stab wound after he ran from an apartment; he was pronounced dead at a hospital. A woman who lived with him remained inside, expressed suicidal thoughts on the phone with her mother, and was taken into custody then hospitalized for treatment. Investigators said the pair argued after returning home Wednesday night; police had previously responded there for domestic-violence calls. Identities and charges were not announced.
