Driver crashes after HCSO chase on Jones Road near Fallbrook

Harris County deputies say a driver with an outstanding evading charge fled after a deputy tried to stop him Labor Day afternoon, sparking a 13-minute, 6-mile chase in northwest Harris County. The pursuit ended on Jones Road near Fallbrook after the suspect hit another vehicle, then continued on foot before giving up. No one was hurt; additional charges are pending, HCSO said.
